About Katie

Finding balance in being.

My journey hasn’t been straightforward. When I discovered yoga in my early twenties in North London, I wasn’t looking to teach. I simply wanted to enjoy it for myself. At that time, I was grappling with anxiety and an eating disorder, and yoga became my unexpected sanctuary for healing. This transformative experience sparked a fierce passion for self-awareness and well-being, guiding me onto a path I never imagined.

That passion led me on a journey across India, Nepal, Cambodia, and Bali, ultimately bringing me to the peaceful island of Koh Phangan, Thailand. Here, I embraced yoga as my full-time calling, teaching and leading international retreats, and collaborating with renowned centres like Hariharalaya in Cambodia.

Six years ago, an early-stage breast cancer diagnosis propmted me into deeper realms of life, guiding me through profound shadow work and uncovering truer, more powerful aspects of myself. Confronting my most tender and vulnerable self required facing my greatest fears. This journey ultimately led me back to Australia, where I dedicated myself to exploring different layers of my being through rituals, ceremonies, unlearning, relearning, and countless hours of devoted practice and self-love. These experiences have become the foundation of my work.

You’ll find me at Soulscape House of Healing in Koh Phangan, where I offer regular classes both in-person and online, alongside women’s gatherings and mentorship for yoga teachers. My creative, breath-centred approach features grounding, dynamic, and playful sessions that invite us to explore the raw beauty of life while honouring our unique strengths. I focus on creating a nurturing and supportive space for everyone, and my ongoing study of Yoga Therapy enriches my practice, empowering me to help others connect with themselves with more compassion in meaningful ways.

I also lead immersive, transformative retreats, including Soulful Women’s Retreats and ReWilding experiences for both men and women, in stunning destinations such as India, Nepal, Bhutan, Australia, and Thailand. These journeys provide a space for individuals to reconnect with their true essence while exploring the world.

I dedicate my work to myself, to all my relations, and to you!

“The more we live and create, the richer the space we hold for each other. So get out there and live deeply.”
