FOURTEEN DAYS
NOVEMBER 15th - 28th

India
INDIA! My heart bursts with excitement every time I know I’m about to return. It’s a land of vibrant contrasts, where the ancient and modern intertwine in a dynamic dance. From the buzzing streets of Delhi to the majestic charm of Jaipur, the sacred energy of Varanasi, and the tranquil beauty of Rishikesh, each destination offers a fresh perspective on this captivating country.
India holds a deep, unshakeable place in my heart. Having travelled here solo countless times, I’m constantly in awe of its colours, energy, and the profound spirituality that courses through it. Every journey has brought new moments of wonder, connection, and self-discovery. Now, sharing this extraordinary place with others is one of the greatest joys of my work.
From the towering Himalayas to sacred rivers, golden deserts, and lush jungles, India’s landscapes stir the soul. Spirituality pulses through every corner, whether in the hum of a temple, the hustle of a market, or in daily rituals. It's a place that awakens the senses and fills you with magic - moments that stay with you long after you leave.
I’ve poured so much heart and experience into this journey—I’d love for you to be part of it.

The
Experience
This retreat offers a special opportunity to immerse yourself in the magic of Northern India. After years of guiding groups through India and Nepal, I’ve come to deeply understand the importance of travelling at a pace that blends movement with stillness, adventure with moments to pause and absorb. Start your day with meditation and yoga by the sacred Ganges, followed by explorations of India’s iconic landmarks. Wander through vibrant markets, sip chai in hidden cafés, and uncover the stories held by ancient palaces. Each day is thoughtfully crafted for both discovery and reflection. With time for yoga, meditation, shopping, and connection with like-minded women, you’ll experience the true essence of India while reconnecting with yourself. I’ve really sat with what works best for retreats in India, and I truly believe this is the most enriching experience for women.
The
Spirit
India’s spirit is unlike anywhere else, a land where ancient traditions weave seamlessly into the rhythm of modern life. It’s a place that calls to something deeper within, stirring the soul and moving the spirit in ways that are hard to put into words. From the sacred ghats of the Ganges to the spiritual pulse of Rishikesh, the intricate carvings of Jaipur’s palaces, and the quiet reverence of temple rituals, India offers moments that awaken, inspire, and transform. This retreat will open you up to so much, connection to the land, its people, and the essence of your own being, leaving you forever changed.

Katie
Katie’s love affair with India began years ago during her solo travels through its vibrant cities, sacred temples, and serene landscapes. The country’s energy, contrasts, and spirituality have been a profound source of inspiration, shaping her journey as both a teacher and a traveller. Having led numerous groups through India and Nepal, Katie has developed a deep understanding of how to create meaningful, transformative experiences, balancing movement and stillness, adventure and reflection.
Katie’s approach is grounded in her passion for connection and self-discovery. Through yoga, meditation, and shared experiences, she creates a safe and supportive space for women to explore not just the magic of India, but also the depths of their own inner worlds. Her familiarity with the country, combined with years of experience running retreats, ensures that every detail is thoughtfully considered, from the warmth of the accommodation to the rhythm of the journey itself.
For Katie, India is more than a destination, it’s a place that stirs the soul, awakens the senses, and invites you to discover something extraordinary within yourself. This retreat is a reflection of her deep love for this land and her commitment to sharing its magic with others.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
-
To say I’m fussy about who I choose to work with would be an understatement. That’s why I’m proud to be part of the Hi On Life team, founded and led by Saran Subba. I’ve collaborated with Saran for many years across India, Nepal, and Bhutan experiences. Alongside him, I’ve come to know the local team, whose kindness and genuine passion for sharing their country with you shine through in everything they do. They play an active role in the retreat and are seen as an integral part of the entire experience, ensuring your time here is both memorable and enriching.
-
Yes, if you’re travelling alone and book a shared room, I will pair you with a roommate.
-
This retreat is for women who are ready to step into the vibrancy of India, seeking adventure and personal growth within a safe and supportive container. It’s for those who want to immerse themselves in the culture, explore new experiences, and deepen their yoga practice, all while feeling held and cared for. Whether you're new to India or returning for more, this journey is designed for those seeking meaningful connection and transformation.
-
This retreat is intentionally intimate, with only 8 spots available, ensuring a deeply personalised experience and meaningful connections within the group.
A minimum of 6 participants is required for the retreat to proceed. If this number is not met within 3 months of departure, a full refund will be provided.
-
The weather in northern India during the retreat will be mild and pleasant, with daytime temperatures ranging from 20°C to 28°C and cooler evenings around 10°C to 15°C. It’s a great time for exploration and outdoor activities, but bringing a light jacket for the evenings is advised.
-
Yes, there will be time to explore local shops and find unique treasures. From jewellery to textiles, you’ll have the opportunity to pick up special souvenirs and immerse yourself in the vibrant local culture.
-
All participants need a valid visa to enter India. Most can apply for an e-visa, but please check the Indian government website or your local embassy for the latest requirements. If you need assistance, I will help you.
-
Not at all! This retreat is open to all women, whether you're new to yoga or have an established practice. While prior experience can be helpful, it’s not necessary.
-
India is generally safe for travellers, and I have travelled solo through the country numerous times. While it's important to take standard precautions, such as dressing modestly, keeping your belongings secure, and being mindful of your surroundings, I can assure you it’s not as intimidating as some may believe. With the guidance of our local team and my own experience, you’ll be supported every step of the way.
-
Travel insurance is mandatory, and I highly recommend taking out a policy at the time of booking to protect your investment.

In India, life moves to its own rhythm, and part of its charm is embracing the unexpected. While I’ve put together a thoughtfully curated itinerary, it’s important to know that nothing is ever set in stone. Plans may change, timings might shift, and detours could arise, as is often the way in this vibrant land.
I encourage you to bring an open heart and a sense of adventure, ready to flow with the journey as it unfolds. This retreat invites you to lean into the magic of each moment.
I’d love for you to be part of this journey.
